What I can offer your team is experience and knowledge in ethnographic research methods and product design.  I have experience with ethnographic techniques such as contextual inquiry, diary studies, card sorts, and others.  I use these techniques to research and provide analysis for collaborative design work. My most recent project was a series of in-home interviews on how Latinos use mobile technology to maintain social ties in a foreign country.  We were able to recognize a life-stage pattern and develop technology profiles for each of these stages. The output of my work can take many forms depending on the research including: diagrams, formal reports, raw participant data such as diaries or photos, mock-up prototypes and or statistical analysis of quantitative or qualitative analysis (grounded theory).
